| Michael Williams Associates, formed in May 1983, provides both Architectural and Planning expertise and is registered as a practice with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and the Irish Planning Institute (IPI). In the Architectural context it was set up to provide a personal service with the Principal acting as team leader and always being actively involved in each project. These pages illustrate the wide experience of Michael Williams Associates and highlights some of the enthusiasm and design flair that have already helped to establish the practice. Continued attendance at mid-career courses and conferences not only illustrates the genuine interest of the office but also ensures | their awareness of modern regulations statutory requirements and solutions. Service to the client is seen to be of paramount importance and it is interesting to note that even the recent award winning schemes were finished on time and within budget. As Planning Consultants the office is the only practice in Kerry with a locally based qualified town planner. It therefore offers the planning expertise that, with today's greater public awareness and participation, is more important than ever. Planning reports, feasibility studies, and also specialist planning appeals, can be carried out by qualified professionals with local knowledge and wide ranging planning experience. The office staff as outlined overleaf, complete with full | administrative and secretarial back-up, means that the practice is capable of dealing with even the largest project whilst still maintaining a personal service. Its offices, in one of the newest commercial developments in the centre of Tralee, boasts all modern facilities, aids and equipment. Since its formation the practice has successfully appointed and worked with all local consultants and also a number of Cork, Limerick and Dublin firms. These pages outline the experience of Michael Williams Associates and the integrated approach of the practice.
